Our hotel is located literally a few metres from the Latemar Dolomites ski area: 52 km of slopes, including easy descents for children, almost dizzying gradients, and a snow park for freestyle enthusiasts. Last but not least: thanks to our electric golf cart, we'll take you from the hotel to the ski slopes in less than two minutes – all you have to do is put on your boots and hop on!
Just a 15-minute drive will take you to the cross-country skiing centre at the Lavazè Pass. Its 80 km of perfectly groomed trails winding through sunny glades and lush forests. The trails connect the Lavazè Pass to the Oclini Pass, all the way to the Pietralba Sanctuary. For those who want to have fun and improve their technique, there's also the Skicross Park, with steep turns, bumps, and changes in gradient.
In Val di Fiemme, winter fun isn't limited to skis. At the top of the Latemar chairlift, an easy and enjoyable sledding slope awaits, perfect for both children and adults. For those looking for an extra thrill, the Alpine Coaster Gardonè delivers 980 metres of twists, turns, dips, and even a spectacular 360° spin. It can be reached directly on skis from Pampeago or by driving to Predazzo and taking the cable car up to Gardonè.
Located at the top of the Latemar cable car, the Bip Club Kindergarten is a space dedicated to children, open daily for the small fry accompanied by an adult. Childcare is also available upon reservation (for children two years and older), with qualified staff. Here, children can play outdoors, discover the snow, and, thanks to the equipped area and instructors, take their first steps on skis in complete safety.
Do you want to meet the dragon Kromos and discover his powers? In the Dragon Forest, you can! A game-book is also available to guide you through the forest's land art works, with fun facts about dragons and fun "tests" to gain their trust. A prize awaits you at the end of the trail. The Dragon Forest can be reached on skis from Pampeago or by car to Predazzo and then by cable car to Gardonè.
In the heart of Cavalese, the Contemporary Art Centre is housed in a historic building, transformed over time. The collection features works by Bruno Munari and other leading figures in 20th-century Italian art. Today, the museum offers exhibitions and events that bring contemporary creativity, Alpine identity, and local traditions into dialogue.
At the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo, the mountains reveal their past: rocks, minerals, and fossils reveal a time when these peaks were sea beds. With over 12,000 artifacts, including an extraordinary collection of Triassic fossils, the museum takes visitors on a fascinating journey through the geological history of the Dolomites.
The Palace of the Magnificent Community of Fiemme, in the heart of Cavalese, was founded as the seat of the vicar of the Prince-Bishop of Trento, who, according to the Ghebardini Pacts of 1111, came to the valley to administer justice. Today, the palace opens its doors to visitors and displays all its beauty, with frescoed rooms and temporary exhibitions that narrate centuries of history, traditions, and life of the Fiemme community.
Above Tesero, at about 1,200 meters above sea level and far from the lights of the valley, the Val di Fiemme Astronomical Observatory opens a window to the universe. Here, among telescopes and a digital planetarium, you can observe the moon, planets, and distant galaxies with the experts of the amateur astronomers' group. A fascinating journey through science and wonder, under one of the clearest skies in the Dolomites.
